doctors to help with 'doctor shortage'
Canada's newest medical school - "Northern Ontario Medical School" -

first entering class of 56 students for the 2005-2006 year.

We won't mention it, as it is too obvious.
Hmmm. . . despite the fact that majority of the 2098 applicants were minorities
(as they always are among Canadian medical school applicants) we still see that
Canadian medical schools still have not changed much with regard to who they
ultimately accept.
The picture looks quite a lot like the entering classes of the early 1900's. It
seems not much has changed in one hundred years. Racism and discrimination are
alive and well in Canada.
Currently, across Canada there are well over 12,000 foreign doctors actively
seeking a job as a physician or a residency position. They have found neither.
Canada claims there is a doctor shortage, Yes there is a shortage of
'practicing' doctors in Canada. But there is no shortage of the number of
International Medical Graduates (IMG's) that languish across the country. In
Ontario alone, 4000 IMG's apply each year for a residency.
Canada is solving that doctor shortage however. How? By increasing the
number of spots at Canadian medical schools. Every medical school across Canada
has increased enrollment.
In addition, as outlined above, Canada has spent millions to open up a new
medical school in Northern Ontario which will produce a new batch of Canadian
medical graduates (Canadian MD’s) that will be used to solve the doctor
shortage.

Think about it! There are 12,000 (twelve thousand) foreign trained doctors
across Canada with no job and no residency, 4000 (four thousand) of them are in
Ontario. These IMG's have passed the Canadian exams (MCCEE, MCCQE), they are
ready to work now! . . . AND there is a doctor shortage. Why doesn't Canada
provide opportunities for them? Why all this effort and money into this new
Canadian medical school?
Because the bottom line is that despite a doctor shortage, Canada will never
provide jobs to graduates of foreign medical schools, even if you are a Canadian
citizen. Canada only wants graduates of Canadian medical schools.
Canada will go to all costs, spare no expense, to make sure that the doctors
who ultimately are allowed to practice in Canada are mostly Caucasian Canadians
of European ancestry. Just look at the picture.
Racism and discrimination are alive and well in Canada.
Thank God we have permanently left that God forsaken country.
